Trash wins international acclaim at ANIMAYO festival
The ANIMAYO festival is a prestigious international event dedicated to animation, renowned for its demanding selection and its global reach. Founded in 2006 in Spain, it is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, bringing together thousands of creators and animation enthusiasts from all over the world for each new edition.

An ultra-competitive world selection
More than 2,000 films were submitted this year, but only a rigorous selection of 55 works was chosen for the competition. By winning the Best Student Short Film award, Trash stands out from the crowd in a highly competitive international field. It should also be noted that the ANIMAYO festival is a qualifying festival for the Oscars. Even if the Best Student Short Film award won by Trash does not constitute an official qualification, it goes without saying that this award represents a real consecration in the animation world, fully celebrating the creativity and promising talent of young directors. A big well done to them!
