A camper van crosses a desert and passes an “Area 51” sign.
In the style of an 80s TV series, Gustave sets out his objective: to prove the existence of aliens.
After sneaking into Area 51, he is confronted with a missile that crashes into the bonnet of his camper van.
The car arrives under the noses of the inhabitants of the nearest village and ends up in the middle of the roundabout, filling the whole town with smoke. Gustave gets out of the smoke-filled camper van.
Roger, a neighbour, is looking for the person responsible for the noise. She runs to Gustave and takes an interest in his journey. He opens up about his plans. Realising that he is stuck because of the state of his vehicle, she calls Steve, the mechanic, who sets to work. Despite being forced to stop in the city, Gustave keeps his objective in sight.
The following Friday, at Cindy’s farewell party, Gustave ends up in the punch bowl. From the bowl, he sees Bob’s feet in the pool surrounded by tentacles.
Just as he is about to pick up his camcorder, Cindy overhears him and ridicules him.
Gustave goes over to Cindy and soils her dress, which really pisses Cindy off, causing a general brawl from which pieces of her costume fly off. Steve puts an end to the altercation.
The conspiracy theorist then comes face to face with real aliens. Roger realises that Gustave isn’t one, and Gustave flees in fear.
There’s a chase all the way to Serge. Gustave starts his camper van. He hits the accelerator, takes off and crashes into Area 51.
He discovers the Roswell alien in a tube of formaldehyde and ends up being held up by the American army.
