Anathema: an adventure game set in a dark fantasy world
Anathema is an action/arena game for PC set in a dark medieval fantasy world, in which you take on the role of a reincarnated warrior who must progress towards goals that will lead him to his revenge against the tyrannical emperor?
You’ll need sharp reflexes andingenuity to survive hordes of enemies.
Your main weapon: a cursed blade, activated by harvesting the souls of your defeated opponents.
You can also use a variety of arsenals picked up on the battlefield to turn the tide of battle.
Synopsis
In Anathema, you take on the role of a reincarnated warrior who has returned to seek revenge on the tyrannical emperor who plunged his world into darkness.
To achieve your goal, you’ll have to face waves of fearsome enemies. Thanks to your cursed weapon, fuelled by the souls you reap, and the arsenal you pick up on the battlefield, you might just be able to overthrow the powers that be.
Can you survive long enough to exact your revenge… and bring down the Emperor?
