On the island of DAO CHUÔNG, the volcano erupts after hundreds of years of dormancy.
ANYA runs towards the temple where her father, NOBU, is blessing a hammer with incense. There’s a crack at the bottom of the cave under a huge gong.
Anya stops at the entrance and tries to convince him to run away with her. Her father, annoyed, tells her to go back to the village and tries to continue the ritual.
Anya grabs his arm and tries to pull him away, but he breaks free of her hold, pushes her aside and she falls to the floor.
The tremors became more pronounced and stones began to fall into the cave.
Nobu picks up the hammer and starts walking towards the gong, while Anya slowly stands up.
A fault forms in the ceiling and reaches the rocks above Nobu.
Anya sees her and tries to warn her father, running towards him before he is crushed by the stones. She removes the stones blocking him. She helps him to sit down against a rock.
Nobu looks sadly at the gong and tells his daughter to run away. Anya refuses and takes her father in her arms, looking towards the exit with tears in her eyes.
She wipes away her tears, slowly picks up the hammer, stands up and turns towards the gong. Nobu frowns and calls to her. She runs towards the gong, leaps over the gap in the air and hits the gong with all her rage before falling into a deep hole.
Nobu, in despair, shouts his name one last time. Anya plunges into the darkness before losing consciousness.
She lies on her back on the floor of a grotto filled with luminescent crystals and coral formations.
A fresco depicting the legend of BAOVELANH glows beneath her and lights begin to curl around Anya’s body, smoke enveloping her.
Tattoos appear on his skin as smoke surrounds him.
In the temple, Nobu crawled to reach the breach. He catches his breath. An opaque mist rose from the crevice, leaving a trail of smoke behind.
A gigantic creature with abyssal and marine features reveals itself as it spreads its wings and dispels the black clouds.
The creature flies over the lava and freezes it, hovering above it and gently caressing it with its silken wings.
The creature lets out a loud scream.
Baảoveệlaạnh then dives through the floor, melting into the ground with a wave of dust, leaving only ice behind.
In the crystal grotto, the creature and Anya are sculpting each other on a wall. The runes are engraved, emitting light that gradually disappears. They join the other engravings, describing Baảoveệlaạnh’s previous appearances.
