The story begins with Kawa, a young octopus, who lives quietly in her shell, in the heart of a dark environment, only coming out to feed, too scared to leave her safe space and face the world.

She is fascinated by bright colours, which don’t really exist in her world, but do exist on a distant coral reef that she always looks at with brilliant eyes.
One day, she finds the most magnificent coral she has ever seen and immediately falls in love with it.
However, his colours are gradually fading and she wants to take him back to the coral reef, in the hope that he will regain his colours.
Hesitant and frightened, she begins her journey with her coral and shell to protect her, wandering through the breathtaking marine world, still frightened but feeling safe, protected by her shell.
However, during the journey, her shell causes her nothing but problems and she breaks it. She drops the coral into a cave to try and save her shell.
She was too slow to catch him and he fell into an oyster shell, which immediately closed. She tries everything to open the shell, but to no avail. Suddenly, a shadow passes, terrifying Kawa, who hides.
Frightened, she relaxes in the shell, feeling at home and safe in the darkness. But little by little, she feels uncomfortable and oppressed.
She sees the coral and immediately wants to reach it. Her desire to get her coral back becomes stronger than her fear and she finally emerges from the shell. Unfortunately, the predator has already taken her coral and run off with it.
Kawa cautiously follows him out of the cave. She discovers a majestic, colourful creature planting its coral and projecting colours onto it before leaving.
Her coral is now magnificently coloured and she realises that she is inside the coral reef she was observing from home.
Ellipse. The coral has grown. Kawa lives happily in the coral reef, she’s no longer afraid of the outside world and she feels fulfilled.
