A minstrel tells the story of a goblin general who, greedy for power, abandoned his army in battle.
Punished by the Heavens, he was condemned to wander in the form of an empty suit of armour for eternity.
So it was that L’Armure set off in search of a solution that might enable him to regain his body.
Failure after failure, she tries, in despair, to put the rope round her neck. While trying to retrieve her helmet from the rope, she unwittingly saves a young goblin from a dragoness attack.
This man, named Eustace, offers to accompany him on his quest. He must go to a magical stele to activate the “demalcification” stone.
Activated in this way, it will put an end to his curse. The Armour mischievously accepts.
When they arrive at the castle containing the stele, they are astonished to discover that the Dragoness is waiting for them to recover her treasure.
Armour saves Eustace from the Dragoness’ flames and, together, they reach the last room of the castle.
With the stele in hand, Eustache and L’armure hurry off. But the ground, blown up by the Dragoness, throws them into the air. The stone escapes them, while Eustace is barely caught by the Armour.
But the latter sacrifices him without scruple in order to eliminate the Dragoness and get the stone back.
The Armour is only a few metres from the stele when it is suddenly knocked unconscious by the Minstrel. He picks up the stone and activates the stele, which lights up with a thousand fires.
Then his lute disappears!
Then, freed from his Minstrel curse, he speaks with familiarity and taunts the Armour before running away from the show for good. Leaving the Armour alone, stuck in its story.
