In the deserted alleyways of a sleepy town, a small grocery shop glows faintly under flickering neon lights. Behind a rusty grille, three shadows creep into the gloom: a black cat with mischievous eyes and two over-excited, puny rats.
Their target is clear: a huge ham hanging in the window, an unattainable treasure they’ve been dreaming of stealing for nights.
The cat, a shrewd strategist, directs the operation.
Calm and calculating, he draws up the plans while the two rats, clumsy and noisy, flail about excessively.
Their mission seems simple. They must enter discreetly, avoid the traps, and leave with the loot.
But the inside of the shop is a veritable minefield, with unstable shelves, balanced boxes, and any noisy objects that might arouse the owner.
While the cat advances with the elegance of a seasoned thief, the rats are less skilful, and one disaster follows another…
The cat tries to stay in control, his eyes riveted on the ham, as situations spin out of control at every turn.
Suddenly, a silent alarm goes off, the lights suddenly come on, and the burglary takes an unexpected turn…
A chase begins through the narrow aisles of the shop, as the three accomplices try to escape from the owner who has obviously spotted them. With one last hope, the 3 acolytes try one last ruse to succeed in their mission. But just as they are about to grab the coveted ham, everything goes wrong.
The commotion attracts the owner, who suddenly bursts into the room. Panicked, the two rats narrowly escape through an opening, leaving the cat trapped behind.
The cat has been caught, but the tender look on the owner’s face leaves some doubt.
