In a microscopic organic world inside a body, an army of foreign bodies attacks the defenders of that world.
On a secondary front, a white globule called Globula captures an assailant: a virus called Viruso, which she begins to escort to prison.
Viruso tries to escape.
In the struggle, they both fall into a deep ravine, far from the battlefield. Unable to climb back up, they are forced to take a different route. Taking advantage of the first opportunity, Viruso flees, but is disorientated by the unfamiliar environment and seriously injured.
Globula catches up with him. Despite their status as enemies, she chooses to heal him so that they can continue their journey.
Lost in this forced journey, Viruso gradually discovers the beauty of the world around him.
The creatures that once shunned him no longer seem to fear him. But the disease continues to spread.
They arrive in a village ravaged by war. A majestic flying animal approaches Viruso and makes contact with him. Shortly afterwards, a surge of acid invades the village.
Together, they help each other to climb buildings and escape destruction.
They find refuge in a cave lined with luminous flowers. Globula picks one and heals Viruso’s wound once and for all.
Exhausted, the two characters move closer together. Viruso, amazed by this world and this gesture, lays his head on Globula’s shoulder. They fall asleep.
They are surprised by a group of Globula soldiers. Globula frees Viruso so that he can flee, avoiding certain execution, but both are quickly captured.
Taken away from each other in the middle of the crowd, they each manage to escape in the chaos caused by a ship firing and triggering an earthquake.
They meet again and embrace. Their embrace becomes so intense that they end up as one.
This fusion creates a wave of energy that spreads across the battlefield, knocking down weapons, armour and ships, and destroying the disease.
The war is over.
The body is healed.
