French studio TAT Prod’s 5th feature film, The Jungle Bunch 2, hits cinemas on August 16. The Toulouse-based studio continues to weave its web in the audiovisual landscape! Several of our former students have taken part in this eagerly-awaited new adventure.

In this second opus, Maurice and his friends, known for their hectic jungle adventures, will embark on a planetary mission to confront a mysterious super-villain who has covered their jungle with a pink foam that explodes on contact with water.
Directed by Laurent Bru, Yannick Moulin and Benoit Somville, and scripted by David Alaux, Éric Tosti and Jean-François Tosti, The Jungle Bunch 2 could be the animated film of the summer. Like its predecessor (2017), it was conceived and created at TAT’s Toulouse studios. It was a hit at the time.
The Jungle Bunch 1: a real success!
Indeed, the first version of The Jungle Bunch was distributed internationally in over 70 countries, and is the most-watched show in Mexico and South Africa after France.
According to JP’S Box Office figures, the first version of Aces of the Jungle drew 2,746,139 admissions worldwide for a total of $10,022,858. It was 198% profitable. It was the sixth-ranked French film at the international box office in 2018.

THE TAT PROD STUDIO
Founded in Toulouse in 2000 by David Alaux, Eric and Jean-François Tosti, TAT is a production company and studio specializing in 3D animation for television and film. Its flagship property, Les As de la Jungle, has been a huge success in both TV and cinema since 2011. The International Emmy Award®-winning series Jungle Aces to the Rescue is broadcast in over 200 territories and translated into some 50 languages.
Today, TAT is one of Europe’s most prolific film studios, with five theatrical releases: Les As de la Jungle (2017), Terra Willy (2019), Pil (2021), Pattie et la colère de Poséidon (2023), Les As de la Jungle 2 (2023) and Pets on a train (2025).
At the same time, TAT is making the next Netflix animated series, Asterix, directed by Alain Chabat and produced by Alain Goldman (Légende Films) in collaboration with Editions Albert René. It is scheduled for release on Netflix in 2024.
