ESMA at the Festival du Film d’Animation d’Annecy

ESMA participated in the new edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. An international event that allows all the professionals of the sector to meet for a few days.
A FIRST-CLASS FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO THE DEFENSE OF ANIMATION
The Annecy Festival has become a must for anyone who wants to work in the animation industry. Held every year in June, professionals from all over the world – more than a hundred countries are represented – flock there. The same goes for students, some of whom do not hesitate to cross the oceans in order to attend. Indeed, not only are the biggest studios in the world present, but many events are also organized: world previews, conferences, masterclasses, signings, screenings, exhibitions…
Beyond promoting animation in all its forms, this festival is also a hub where future trends in animation are discussed, recruitments (or contacts for post-graduation) and contracts are signed. It is therefore an important moment to which ESMA contributes by meeting the many studios present, promoting upcoming films, learning about new technologies or any other element that can contribute to perfecting the CG Animation & FX Master Degree.
ESMA is also honored to be invited to each Annecy festival to be a partner and co-organizer of the Picnic (along with Locksmith, Blue Zoo, Aardman, Epic Games, DNEG) set up by the invaluable Shelley Page, an icon of the CG animation world. Several of our students are invited to contribute to this VIP event during which they can meet and exchange with the biggest names in CG animation and FX.
