High above an impenetrable forest, Captain Viktor and his first mate Bill board the wreck of a ship stranded at the top of the canopy. Inside the cabin, still full of treasures, Viktor discovers a mysterious map showing the entrance to the depths of this sea of leaves.
Despite the disturbing tracks left by a gigantic creature that seems to have ravaged the ship, they decide to follow the map and venture into the forest.
In their boat, they sail above the canopy before reaching a mechanical door that allows them to descend beneath the trees. As they pass through, they discover a misty, silent world that is as fascinating as it is dangerous.
But their amazement is short-lived: a high-pitched scream echoes through the forest and a creature suddenly appears, violently striking their ship.
The harpoon was destroyed in the attack, but Viktor managed to throw a harpoon by hand and hit the beast, which dragged the boat after it through the trees.
The race comes to an abrupt end when the chain snaps and the ship crashes to the ground, broken and in flames. Viktor wakes up in the middle of the wreck, while Bill is trapped in ropes, at the mercy of the creature that reappears in the mist. Faced with this danger, Viktor is overwhelmed by the memory of a former crew he was unable to save from the same creature.
Refusing to relive this failure, he confronts the beast one last time. Armed with his anchor, he managed to hold it back and attached his chain to it.
In a final sacrifice, he pushes the anchor into the void, dragging the creature with him into the abyss of the forest to save his mate.
